Spring in Park Slope, Brooklyn, million years ago.
Seriously – what happened to the nice season when you can wear cute little jackets and light scarves? A couple of weeks ago I had to bundle myself in a winter jacket and a super warm wool cowl (handmade, of course) and today I was wearing shorts and flip flops… in MARCH!!! Can I get a break as far as my energy bill is concerned? We go from heating the apartment to cooling the apartment with no in-between period of just keeping the damn thing off and enjoying the normal temperature. A few years ago I took this beautiful picture while walking around Park Slope, Brooklyn, on a beautiful day in April. It was a real spring, the one I love, with blooming trees and flowers and insanely green grass and I wore a jacket that day. Please give me my spring back!
